Updates to the COVID-19 protocol at Retina Consultants:

  • All patients arriving at the office will have their temperature checked before entering the clinic.

Dear Patient:

Thank you for trusting Retina Consultants with your healthcare.  Your trust is important to us.

We are all aware of the public health concerns due to the recent outbreak of coronavirus disease or COVID-19.  COVID-19 is a newly identified respiratory virus that is easily spread through person to person contact.  We understand you may be worried or frightened about COVID-19.  Retina Consultants has always taken pride in keeping our clinic clean and we will continue doing so, along with implementing additional disinfecting procedures in our office.

We will continue to remain open; however, we ask if you are feeling sick or have been exposed to a sick person that you kindly reschedule your appointment.  If you have a compromised immune system or do not feel comfortable going out in public, please do not hesitate to call us and we will be happy to assist you in rescheduling your appointment.

If you experience COVID-19 symptoms – such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath – please contact your regular healthcare provider before coming to your scheduled appointment to determine if you should be evaluated or practice social distancing.

Remember to take precautions to keep yourself healthy: wash your hands, avoid touching your face, and practice appropriate self-care, including staying home when you are sick.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at 701-293-9829.

Sincerely,

Max R Johnson, MD                Marina Gilca, MD
